This is a beautiful early 20th century Chinese table chest or jewellery box with a beautiful koi and dragon design dating from around 1920. The box with lid has a deep cast Chinese koi carp, all around the box is decorated with dragons. The design has very fine detail throughout with stylised decorations on all four sides. The box is lined with velvet and marked on the bottom.
